Haitian civilians rush to retrieve high-nutrition meals donated by Project Handclasp and Kids Against Hunger that were delivered to them as a humanitarian assistance project by crewmen embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge. America's contributions to relief efforts are being coordinated by the United States Agency for International Development and its Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance.
