Sailors who were nominated for sailor of the year pose for a group photo upon completion of the SOY ceremony and luncheon Feb. 7 at the Ocean Breeze on Camp Foster. The SOY program is hosted by the Chief Petty Officer Association to recognize sailors who go above and beyond in their job field. “These sailors
have showed exemplary work,” said Command Master Chief Eric S. Anderson, the command master chief for III Marine Expeditionary Force. “They are the future leaders and role models for the sailors in the future. They are also the backbone for
