Members of the 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron pose for a group photo at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Jan. 22, 2014. The 9th EBS, deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, flew 2,179 flags during their deployment and raised $9,202.24 that was presented to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, Intra-Theater Care Program. The ITCP is charged with decompressing critical Level 1 medical facilities downrange, accepting non-urgent general and orthopedic surgical cases, pre-approved battle wounded care, and a host of other illnesses that require medical intervention.
