Sgt. 1st Class Travis Williams, with 26th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, goes over a possible scenario soldiers may encounter off-duty and asks for opinions on ways his classmates would intervene during the recent bystander intervention “train-the-trainer” course 30 senior noncommissioned officers from 1st Armor Brigade Combat Team and 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, completed on Jan. 9. Two instructors from the Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) at Northeastern University in Boston flew down to instruct this course, the first of its kind in the Army.
