Cmdr. Michael Rickett of Mitchell, S.D., JBAB operations officer; and Division Chief Mark Hendley, JBAB Fire and Emergency Services, transfer coats from coat donation collection boxes to bags for easier transportation and carrying during distribution to people in the nearby community in need of them. Firefighters and DOD police officers at JBAB conducted a coat drive to help keep residents of low-income housing areas in the District of Columbia's Ward 7 warm during the winter. JBAB residents, military members, civilian and contracted workers donated gently-used coats of all sizes to help make the drive a success.
