Petty Officer 3rd Class Courtney Davis and Airman Brandy Young monitor the fuel tanks in JP-5 Pump room 2 during a replenishment at sea between the aircraft carrier USS George Washington and the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser. George Washington is training with Carrier Air Wing 5 during its transit to Japan. George Washington is en route to Yokosuka, Japan, where the ship will replace USS Kitty Hawk as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
