Joiner, 21, leaps onto to the ladder of the tanker ship Elona with help from Boatswain Third Class Shawn Carman, 26, both boarding team members off of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell, homeported in Alameda, Ca.Coast Guard boarding teams are searching vessels in the Gulf region for weopons, terrorists and Iraqi personnel in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
