Petty Officer 2nd Class Judith Bahanmon, a Reservist working with the U.S. Embassy in Bogota Colombia, sits down with a Colombian soldier surrounded by children at the Candalaria medical clinic, a current site being used to provide humanitarian aid by the men and women embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge. Kearsarge is supporting the Caribbean phase of Continuing Promise 2008, an equal-partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
