A boatswain's mate from the Coast Guard Cutter Resolute, a 210-foot ship homeported in St. Petersburg, Fla., maneuvers the ship's rigid hull inflatable boat to retrieve the cutter's boarding team. The team had just completed its inspection to determine if the commercial vessel was fishing legally and in compliance with safety standards. Along with flying and logging, commercial fishing is one of the most dangerous occupations in the country.
