GULF OF ALASKA - Petty Officer 1st Class Brandon Kelly and Petty Officer 2nd Class Manuel Izquierdo, both aviation maintenance technicians with Air Station Kodiak, observe the Japanese fishing vessel Ryou-Un Maru from the ramp of HC-130 Hercules airplane airborne over the Gulf of Alaska April 4, 2012. This the the fourth day they have overflown the vessel to confirm its condition and position while Coast Guard incident management personnel work with stakeholders to determine the best course of action to deal with the drifting ship.
