GULF OF ALASKA - The Japanese fishing vessel Ryou-Un Maru drifts northwest unmanned and unlit approximately 170 nautical miles southwest of Sitka April 4, 2012. The vessel was first sighted in Canadian waters more than a week ago and at present course and speed is not in danger of grounding in the near future.
