    NEW YORK - The Coast Guard patrol boat CG-40451 crew, led by Seaman Robert J. Youngblood, monitors recovery operations of the British tanker, Alva Cape, after numerous explosions rocked the ship while anchored in Gravesend Bay, Brooklyn, N.Y., June 28, 1966. Youngblood was awarded the Coast Guard Medal for rescuing the officer-in-charge of a New York City fireboat after an explosion hurled him into the water during firefighting operations.
