ARLINGTON, Va.- Several members of Coast Guard Recruit Companies Sierra 185 and Tango 185 respond to instruction from a company commander during the annual Flags Across America flag laying event on Arlington National Cemetery Saturday, November 5, 2011.

Recruit companies Sierra 185 and Tango 185 visited Arlington National Cemetery for their one-day off-base liberty, which is their only break in an eight-week boot camp at the Coast Guard-s Training Center in Cape May, N.J.

'It's an honor for me because I'm a prior Marine, 'To come here has always been a dream of mine,' said Seaman Recruit William Favors, a prior service Marine, 'to be able to represent two different branches of service, the Marine Corps and the Coast Guard, is absolutely wonderful in my eyes.'
