VALLEJO, Calif. -- The USS Iowa, an 887-foot WWII era U.S. Navy battleship, from Benicia, Calif., is towed underneath the Carquinez Bridge, Friday, Oct. 28, 2011. The Iowa is being towed, by commercial tugboats, from Benicia to Richmond, Calif., where it will be refurbished, it will then be towed to Los Angeles where it will be further restored and turned into a museum.
