MARBLEHEAD, Ohio - Petty Officer 3rd Class Timothy Mirandi of Coast Guard Station Marblehead is the recipient of the Coast Guard Sector Detroit Lucien M. Clemons Boat Crewman Award for January to June 2011 and was honored during an awards ceremony at Station Marblehead Oct. 17, 2011. The award is presented semi-annually to the boat crewman whose seamanship, leadership afloat and operational actions best epitomize the Coast Guard's standards for boat crewmen, and its namesake is the first recipient of the Gold Lifesaving Medal.
