CLEARWATER, Fla. - Members of U.S. Coast Guard Port Security Unit 307 (PSU 307), stationed in Clearwater, Fla., perform a gunnery exercise aboard a 25-foot Transportable Port Security Boat, approximately 15 miles west of Clearwater, June 7, 2010. Regular gunnery exercises enable unit members to keep weapons and boat operation qualifications current. PSU 307, a 146-person unit, comprised primarily of reserve members of the U.S. Coast Guard, is a deployable unit organized for sustained worldwide operations. It has the ability to deploy within 96 hours and to provide waterborne and shore-based protection for shipping and critical port facilitities.
