    ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 9, 2004)--Machinery Technician 2nd Class Chad Parker, 29, inspects a large containter in the hold of a cargo dhow as a boarding team from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Adak searches the vessel for smuggled Iraqi oil. The Coast Guard has deployed four 110-foot patrol boats to the region to support U.S. Navy 5th Fleet and coalition forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Maritime Interception Operations to stop illegal oil smuggling and to search for terrorists.
