KODIAK, Alaska - The Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf, a 418-foot national security cutter homeported in Alameda, Calif., with a crew of 108 is moored in Women's Bay at Coast Guard base Kodiak prior to a two-month patrol in Alaskan waters April 15, 2011. The cutter with capabilities for maritime homeland security, law enforcement and national defense missions, will aid District 17 with fishery patrols and search and rescue operations in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska.
