Seaman Frank Santana, a Military Sealift Command civilian assigned to the amphibious command and control ship USS Mount Whitney, moves pallets of blankets donated by the United States Agency for International Development, Aug. 19, 2008. Mount Whitney is taking part in the larger United States response to the government of Georgia request for humanitarian assistance. The ship will deliver thousands of blankets, hygiene products, baby food and infant care supplies to save lives and alleviate human suffering.
