JUNEAU, Alaska - A Juneau-based Station 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew stood by to assist the crew of the fishing vessel Pillar Bay that was reportedly taking on water in Taku Inlet just south of Juneau Jan. 11, 2011. The crew of the Pillar Bay reported they were able to stop the flooding and headed into a Juneau harbor while the MLB crew stayed in the area ready to respond.
