KODIAK, Alaska - Petty Officer 3rd Class Chris Moore, an aviation survival technician at Air Station Kodiak, shakes the hand of Wyatt Lotzer, 7, at an assembly at East Elementary Dec. 10, 2010, where Wyatt was recognized by the MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew for his bravery and confidence when he and his mother Candice were rescued from a grounded skiff in Ugak Bay Nov. 21. Moore was lowered from the helicopter to the water, discussed the hoist procedure with the Lotzers and placed mother and son in the rescue basket for return to Kodiak.
