BALTIMORE - Crewmembers of the Coast Guard Cutter James Rankin, a 175-foot buoy tender homeported at the Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay, Md., service a buoy before replacing it with a seasonal winter buoy, Nov. 29, 2010. Once the buoys are removed from the water, the Rankin's crew will refurbish the buoys by painting them and replacing any necessary electrical equipment so they will be ready to be set again in the spring.
