VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.-Petty Officer 1st Class Mike Boyle introduces "Chief" Dusty, a retired Coast Guard explosives detetction dog, to members of the public at the Show of Pride at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on Sept. 11, 2010. Organized by Navy League Hampton Roads, the event was an opportunity for the public to interact with members of the military, and for personnel in each branch to explain and demonstrate their missions. Dusty recently retired after eight years as working dog and now lives with Boyle, his former handler, who is assigned to Fifth Coast Guard District headquarters.
