WASHINGTON - Petty Officer 1st Class Carrie Lee Grady, a marine science technician stationed at the Coast Guard's Pacific Strike Team in Novato, Calif., is the 2009 Coast Guard Enlisted Person of the Year, June 16, 2010. Grady was meritoriously advanced to Chief Petty officer in recognition for her contribution to the Coast Guard and it's personnel during an awards ceremony at Ft. McNair.
