MIAMI - U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Thad Allen and Petty Officer 2nd Class Angel Vazquez, a machinery technician at Sector Miami, hold a Flat Stanley project doll that was sent from a student at a local Miami elementary school during his visit to Base Support Unit Miami April 28, 2010. Students make paper Flat Stanley dolls and a journal that is mailed around the country to other schools, historical landmarks, public figures and famous performers.
