STRAIT OF GEORGIA - Rear Adm. Gary Blore, Thirteenth Coast Guard District Commander, presents a plaque to Superintendent Tom Jones of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) during a visit aboard Her Majesty's Canadian Ship Calgary here, March 1, 2010. Blore awarded Jones with the plaque to thank him and the RCMP for the work done during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. The Coast Guard worked with the U.S. Navy, Canadian Navy and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as part of a cross-boarder information sharing and law enforcement operation titled Operation PODIUM.
