SAN FRANCISCO (Sept. 9, 2008) - Colonel-General Victor Trofimovich, Head of the Russian Coast Guard toasts American delegates at a bi-lateral meeting between the Russian and U.S. Coast Guards at the North Pacific Coast Guard Forum held here. The forum includes the heads of the Japanese, Chinese, Russian, South Korean and U.S. Coast Guard's or equivalent, as well as other representatives from those agencies. The involved parties discussed working relationships in the areas of maritime search and rescue, law enforcement, illegal fishing, and other areas of interest.
