The United States Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City attended the annual Lighthouse Weekend in Montauk Point, NY August 17. This event was sponsored by the Lighthouse committee of the Montauk Historical Society. Lighthouse Weekend is intended to showcase museum exhibits and educate the public. The mission of the Lighthouse Committee of the Montauk Historical Society is to preserve, protect and promote the Montauk Lighthouse. Air Station Atantic City supported the event by setting up a static display and conducted a sar demo.
