Myrick is stationed on the 378-foot Coast Guard Cutter Dallas, based in Charleston, S.C. The Dallas is halfway through a four-month deployment and has made stops in Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe, Ghana and Senegal.
