    The annual maritime homeland security exercise, Frontier Sentinel, took place in the northwestern Atlantic. The interagency exercise involved the Canadian and U.S. Navies and the United States Coast Guard, as well as numerous other federal, state and local agencies in the detection, assessment and response to a maritime security threat.
