ANCHORAGE, Alaska (May 9, 2008) -- Lt. Cmdr. Michael McNeil and Lt. Mike Hegedus, both of Coast Guard Sector Anchorage, stand in the first rank of a combined sea services formation as they wait for the ceremony to begin. The formation rendered honors to Lt. Gen. Dana T. Atkins during his Assumption of Command ceremony at Elmendorf Air Force Base. As the ALCOM Commander Atkins has command of all military forces in Alaska as needed.
