San Francisco, January 2, 2008 -- Heavy equipment is used by crew members Wednesday to uncover the piece of Bay Bridge fender from Half Moon Bay that washed ashore in December. The fender detached after the Cosco Busan allieded with the bridge in November. After inspection by the Coast Guard, the fender was pushed across the beach and then removed by ramp to be disassembled.
