Coast Guard reservists, called to active duty with the Port Security Unit (PSU) from Fort Eustis, Va., take rifle practice on Guantanamo Bay (GMTO), Cuba. The unit was at GTMO from January to June, 2002. Coast Guard port security units are staffed primarily with Coast Guard Selective Reserve members. Upon assignment to a PSU, members undergo extensive training in tactical combat skills, similar to those used by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.
