    KODIAK, Alaska (June 25) - City of Kodiak Mayor Carolyn Floyd delivered a proclamation to honor Korean War veterans during the Korean War commemortive flag raising ceremony held Sunday at the Coast Guard cutter Ironwood here on base. The Coast Guard Cutter Ironwood, the last U.S. ship still on active duty to have served in the Korean War theatre, hoisted a Korean War 50th Anniversary commemoration flag into its rigging here Sunday. The flag raising ceremony honors the thousands of men and women who served during the four-year conflict and to pay tribute to the 33,651 soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen and five Coast Guardsmen who died in the war.
