MOBILE, Ala. (Sept. 2, 2005) - President Bush receives a briefing today from Coast Guard Capt. James D. Bjostad, 51, of Richmond, Va., on the status of search and rescue operations staged out of the Coast Guard base here. The president arrived at the Coast Guard Aviation Training Center in Mobile and spoke with state and federal officials prior to departing on a helicopter overflight to further assess the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.
