HYANNIS, Mass. (Aug. 17, 2005)--Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod attempted to lower a member of the Coast Guard Aids to Navigation team into the Bishop and Clerks lighthouse off Hyannis, Mass. today for preventative maintenance on the lighthouse. Through the top of the lighthouse is the only means of entry for the light. The mission was not completed due to concerns about winds and concerns about the helo's basket becoming entangled in the anttenae. USCG photo by PA3 Kelly Newlin.
