The aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk is seen conducting a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe in this Global Hawk RQ-4A aerial photograph. Global Hawk captured more than 1,000 images of Rim of the Pacific 08 during its eight-week deployment to Point Mugu, Calif. Global Hawk flew 217 hours, the longest flight a 25-hour sortie, in support of Trident Warrior 08 and Rim of the Pacific 08, as well as U.S. Northern Command California firefighting actions and the Department of Homeland Security Golden Phoenix exercise.
