KODIAK, Alaska (Nov. 11, 2004) -- An HH-60 Jayhawk pilot from Air Station Kodiak assists a Kodiak City ambulance crew in loading a medevac patient from Port Lions into the vehicle for immediate transport to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. The patient, a 58-year-old woman, was in a coma. The crew medevaced her to the Alaska Airlines Terminal in Kodiak Thursday afternoon. USCG photo by PA3 Sara Francis.
