MOBILE, Ala. (Sept. 23, 2004)--Coast Guard Petty Officer Jared Taylor, 26, of Daphne, Ala., lifts a red plywood channel marker in the entrance of Mobile Bay, Ala. Numerous channel Markers from Mobile, Ala., to Destin, Fla., were destroyed by Hurricane Ivan. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Teams have been working to quickly restore and reopen the waterways.
