DESCRIPTION NORTHERN ARABIAN GULF (July 30, 2004)--
(CENTER) Seaman Mark Sarafin takes his boarding team back to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Adak after they finished boarding an oil tanker here. Although fairly new to the Coast Guard, Sarafin's vital duties as a small-boat coxswain include transport and security of the boarding team. The Adak is patrolling the Norther Arabian Gulf along with other Coast Guard, U.S. Navy and coallition warships as part of Operation Irqi Freedom. Official U.S. Coast Guard photo by PA2 Zachary A.
