JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 27, 2004)--Petty Officer 3rd Class Brad Cervi (BM3) looks at a National Oceanic and Atmosheric Administration (NOAA) weather buoy 20 miles off the coast of Cape Canaveral, Fla., July 27, 2004. The weather buoy measures and records wind speed and direction, water temperature among other weather conditions. Information gathered form buoys like this can by very useful to the Coast Guard and NOAA in helping track severe weather such as hurricanes or tropical stroms. USCG photo byPA3 Bobby Nash
