STATEN ISLAND, NY (Feb. 4, 2004)--Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal William Zerillo swears Petty Officer Third Class John W. Krause, 29 from Bronxville, NY, Petty Officer 1st Class Fred L. Taylor, 48 from Brooklyn, NY, Petty Officer 2nd Class Bryan Doel, 33 from Jackson, NJ, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Benjamin L. Booth, 29 from Newburgh, NY, into the U.S. Marshal Service at Coast Guard Activities New York. They are the first Coast Guard personnel to be cross-sworn in as Special Deputies.
