PERSIAN GULF (March 9, 2003)--Lt. Holly Harrison, Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Aquidneck homeported in Atlantic Beach, NC., smiles before departing for the crew's first patrol in the Middle East. Four 110-foot patrol boats are curently deployed in the Persian Gulf, the first time Coast Guard patrol boats have deployed to a potential theater of war since the Vietnam War.
