Marines prepare simulated IEDs during an IED recognition course Nov. 21 at the MOUT town near Camp Hansen. The IED was simulated with a CO2 canister and a plastic bottle wired to a detonator, creating a loud bang when triggered. The Marines are with 7th Comm. Bn., III MHG, III MEF.
