Spc. Jesse Lee Bowlen, an early systems warning operator with 2nd Brigade Combat Team 1st Armored Division, stands in front of a Sentinel short range Radar, one of the many assets being utilized by the Airspace Management Environment, currently being evaluated this month at the Network Integration Exercise 14.1 at Fort Bliss.NIE 14.1 is a monthlong event, during this time soldiers use the equipment in a simulated combat environment, and through this usage the soldiers make recommendations for possible future upgrades to the systems evaluated.
