The medical team assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 17 conducted medical help outreach for a local village in Fallujah. NMCB-17, also known as the "Desert Battalion", homeported at Fort Carson, Colorado is deployed to Iraq and other areas of operations supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
