Stephen H. Kelley during a change of command ceremony held at the military aviation unit at Bahrain International Airport, July 17. Commander, Logistics Forces NAVCENT is the single point of contact for Naval Operational Logistics within the NAVCENT area of operations. This mission includes the integration and coordination of assigned afloat and ashore logistics assets, scheduling of assigned surface and air logistics assets, command and control of all forward logistics sites and logistics detachments, coordination of supply support functional requirements including management of fuel, ordnance and transportation, and management of in-theater ship and aviation maintenance programs and help to maintain the current level of Maritime Security Operations in the region.
