Capt. John G. The Marines of VMM-262 spoke to Japanese media about their participation in Tomodachi Rescue Exercise (TREX) scheduled to take place October 25. TREX is a bilateral humanitarian assistance/disaster relief exercise, which is taking place in Kochi Prefecture. The deployment of MV-22B Osprey squadrons to Japan and Okinawa equates to a heightened capability in terms of security and humanitarian assistance for the entire Asia-Pacific region.
