Sailors assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11 stand with Marines, Airmen, and Soldiers during a 9/11 Remembrance Commemoration on Camp Lemonnier. NMCB-11 is home-ported in Gulfport, Miss. and is currently deployed to multiple locations in support of AFRICOM, EUCOM, CENTCOM, and PACOM. NMCB-11's Det. Horn of Africa (HOA) is a Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF) HOA unit whose mission includes stabilizing and strengthening security in East Africa through military-to-military engagements with partner nations.
