A CH-47 Chinook helicopter takes off after unloading a Humvee and M119 howitzer during a training exercise, on Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug 28. The exercise was designed to familiarize Paratroopers of the 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division with sling-load operations by using helicopters to transport their equipment into position quickly so they can begin to provide indirect fire support.
